EASTSIDE HORCHATA IN VANILLA WAFFLE CONE
Treatbot // San Jose, CA & SF Bay Area
I LOVE Horchata, so I'm always down to try anything Horchata-flavored on the menu. To no surprise, Treatbot did not disappoint with its Horchata ice cream, officially called Eastside Horchata (Eastside refers to Eastside San Jose). You can get it in a cup or a FRESH-MADE vanilla waffle cone. I chose the latter, of course, and yum! The cone was warm with the perfect crunch, adding an extra dee-lish layer to the ice cream.
HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE SHAKE TOPPED WITH BRÛLÉED MARSHMALLOW
Roam Artisan Burgers // San Francisco & Lafayette, CA
I'm usually not into shakes because I find most to be way too sweet (yes, there is a limit to my oh so sweet tooth!). But this Straus Family Creamery shake is one of the best shakes I've EVER had. With every slurp, you get organic hazelnut ice cream and chocolate chips. Yum! The brûléed marshmallow is an extra $1 and it's probably one of the best dollar I've spent. It sits on an Italian wafer cookie and it is to die for. I've also heard that the Blue Bottle Coffee flavor is amazing -- definitely next on my list.

ANTHONY'S COOKIES // San Francisco, CA
The. Best. Cookies. As soon as you walk in, you get a whiff of freshly baked cookies, made with local and organic ingredients, making you go, "Mmmmm...." They have the perfect texture -- not too soft (except for the peanut butter, but it's certainly not your not-very-good supermarket cookies), not too chewy, and not too crunchy, yet basically all of the above. All five flavors were good, but my favorites had to be toffee chip and cookies & cream. Sigh, I wish I can make cookies like these! #bakergoals
